Easy Model Vietnam range helicopters query

I was just wondering whether anyone had experience of the Easy Model 1:48 scale Vietnam helicopters? I've only seen a UH-1C at 1:48 available and I was wondering how it might look with the Corgi Hueys, which are also sold as 1:48?

The image below is from Creative Models shop site of one of the kits. I've seen them sold as 'pre built' plastic kits which seems to suggest they come assembled; a big time saver!

I couldn't find anything on the 1:48 Hueys but I did find a review of the 1:72 modern helicopters, which gives a decent description of what to potentially expect.

Might be worth a punt for half to a third of the cost of diecast? I'm terrible at putting kits together unless it's a crash scene!

I have the easy model 1/72 scale Huey and it is fantastic. I assume the 1/48 would be even better...

I have built a number of kits over the years and I can definitely recommend a ready built easy model - quality wise it is not going to be significantly worse then even a finely built kit and the saving in time and money well makes up for the effort required of a kit. They are also stronger and thus more ideal for the wargames table.

The only down side is the lack of crew and it seems almost impossible with the 1/72nd scale easy model to open it up and add some.

Thanks for the info. It's worth a punt as they're only a few pounds more than the kits. As you say the ready built nature is a big help when you have limited time.
