28mm Western Buildings Side by Side Comparison Photos
« on: August 24, 2013, 03:25:15 PM »
This visual comparison is focused on laser cut buildings. I don't own any resin western buildings. These photos compare the buildings from Aetherworks, Battle Flag, Gamecraft Miniatures, Sarissa Precision and Tri City Laser (Knuckleduster) to the new buildings from 4Ground (Great Escape Games). Like many of my blog postings it is very photo intensive. Here is the link to my blog post: http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2013/08/28mm-laser-cut-western-buildings-side.html
Here is a sample of what you can expect to see:

Nice review.
But what I'd really like to see is your whole town laid out  lol.

I have some TSS resin buildings and some custom Colin Rush buildings. I wonder how they scale with yours.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

The 4Ground ones really need the base-board section to kinda flush out the height/size of the buildings for sure.  I think it would look more in-line with that other building.

PS: That's a great asset on your blog by the way.

I was pretty much kicking myself when I was editing the photos and I realized what I had done. I'll have to go back and retake all the 1 story building shots so that you are getting a more accurate look.

Eh, yes and no.  The buildings are intended to be used with OR without the base-boards.  I think they just add a lot to the building.  I'm sure some people might use them without the base boards, so your pictures are more genuine.
