Thank you for your kind comments- the chaps are going to expand it & would like to run it @ Fantazan next year. They have an idea to put all 3 movies into 1 game... Time will tell.

How did you guys build the board. Im searching for inspiration and the finished product looks great. I had an idea to just paint a surface black and make tiles to act as raised sidewalk, which is what this kind of looks like.

Well hearts261 - I will take it as a complement- but it is guy and not guys, I am sole trader in this respect.
You are correct with your ideas - my boards are painted blackboard black on one side and flocked on the reverse. The building units are attached to marine plywood giving them the raised footpath(sidewalk). This enables streets to be laid out in various patterns and makes storage easier. I try to based buildings that are time specific (supermarkets etc) on separate basis so they can be removed for unsuitable time periods.
Hope this makes sense

Sorry about that, I just sort of assumed it would be a group project. Very, very impressive. Thanks for the advice, the time specific bit is a great idea

Beautiful set up, who doesn't love a good zombie game? I watched 'Warm Bodies' last night - now there's some great ideas for a zombie game!
