HAT WWI German wagons
« on: August 21, 2013, 11:27:37 PM »

I’ve make a mistake and ordered a box of WWI German Horses Drawn Wagons when in fact I needed a WWII model… lol

I have two questions; was this type of wagon exclusively military? and was the WWI wagon type still used in the Second World War by German troops?

Cheers! 8)

it depends for what You want to use them.
the wehrmacht commandeered basically everything with wheels, so for small scale logistics everything is OK
a link/picture for the models would be helpful indeed

If you're talking bout the WW1 wagon in your link you should get away with simple headswaps.

same wagon as ww2, only difference is the horse harness between ww1 and ww2 , but still passable if on the eastern front (eastern yoke style harness), I changed my horses to metal ones and added different crew though.

I have some painted but with Irregular horses, SHQ crew, I will take a picture and post it on the weekend on my blog and link it.

cheers
Matt
