Sigh!

'Things were different in my day, you collected figures, off eBay and bring and buy sales, you know ... proper like. Now anyone and their dog can just buy them, it's not cricket!'  :'(

Then again, cricket isn't cricket these days either ...

Cheers!

Some of these fellows have been on my want list for ages or rather give or take 15+ years when I saw them at a friends place. Let's hope a few more nice old models (bretonians...  peasants) turn op :)

I read the captions and thought, "Well, I've heard of Betrand du Guesclin and Sir John Chandos, but who's this Alan Horseman chap?  What did he do?"

Then the penny dropped.

I need more coffee this morning, it seems!

Almost sprayed my tea over the laptop  lol

Mmmm tasty... I have coveted these on and off for years.

Makes you wonder what other ancient goodies Foundry have the moulds for!

I've added a new post today with pictures of what I bought and an analysis of what is missing from the ranges so far. I also neglected to mention the barbarians... :)

As I say on my post: I spoke with Marcus at Foundry about the release of these figures and he told me that the reason they aren't on the website at the moment is that they are waiting for sets of them to be painted up, which makes sense. Some, but not all, have been painted. If you want them in the meantime its best if you call them.

Great Stuff :-)

Don't they have the moulds for the old Bretonian sculpts as well?

They already have the old bretonnian footknights in the HYW range.

I'm also pretty sure that some of their Bretonnian Knights are these guys but I need to do a proper study:

Those Barbarians have been on a wish list for years.
Ebay prices have always put me off until I could find a good 'excuse'.
No excuses for not buying some now.

They may not be so rare now, but you cannot take away from those stunning paintjobs, Chris!
