Welf VIII.:

Welcome to the Medieval Painting order!

I am proud to have taken over the Club of Posting from Hammers and the Pulp Board. The idea is the same in most things but the theme, which of course, given the Board, is about everything medieval from just about 500 until 1600. I know the natural border seems to be 1500 but since a lot of guys her posted pictures of miniatures from the blood-stained Tudor period I think that is okay.

Club membership is awarded to those who participate in the goal to paint 200 miniatures, all within the Board theme. Every member of this forum is invited to post photos of his/her painted miniatures here. As soon as we'll surpass that two hundred limit, the order accepts no more knights and refers to the rest as stinking peasants. Well not really, but you know what I am wanting to say.

Some simple rules for this:
•   As mentioned above, it’s about painting miniatures which cover the Medieval era and theme.
•   You may post only one miniature base each day. here- We will accept multiple miniatures on each base. This is to allow for entries like a catapult crew or a merchant with his wagon.
•   Once entered, you don’t have to post every day. It’s perfectly sufficient to post just one single miniature at all in order to take part in the game and to become a member of the exquisite Medieval Painting Order.
•   This is not about showing your collection of already painted stuff, so please do post only newly painted miniatures. We’re not in a hurry, so take your time.
•  All scales allowed

That's it! Get painting!

If you would like to put the shiny badge (the small version of it!) made by Admiral Benbow (thank to him!) to your sig, just put that line to your signature:

Welf VIII.:
To start on a low level, here is just one Man-at-Arms for my Yellow-Blue Battle for WotR. Wiltshire or Lovell I'd assume.

#1 - Man-at-Arms Edward of Styles

Have fun!

Mason:
And so it begins!

Lovely!
Great start to, what promises to be, another epic thread.
 :-*

Captain Blood:
Excellent start Welf VIII - he's my favourite figure from that pack  :)

As it happens, I have another batch of Wars of The Roses figures on the painting table right now, so hopefully I'll be able get some finished and post a few of those here before this thread fills up!

Prof.Witchheimer:
I'm in! here comes an unreleased (yet) LAM Bruegelburg figure. I think he's medieval enough :)

#2 - Hugo, the revolting peasant
