Some wonderful additions to the Order, chaps!

The standard is seriously high at the moment, absinthe or not.

The Schweizer is cool! I really like the way you do the plate armour. The Steel Fist miniatures are also nice.
Little Jon looks the part...brightly colourfull indeed.

Quick question: Does this mean that 'Landsknecht'-style miniatures are go or no-go? I don't know a lot of the very late medieval/renaissance transition times:

I am proud to have taken over the Club of Posting from Hammers and the Pulp Board. The idea is the same in most things but the theme, which of course, given the Board, is about everything medieval from just about 500 until 1600. I know the natural border seems to be 1500 but since a lot of guys her posted pictures of miniatures from the blood-stained Tudor period I think that is okay.

I hope to finish my first contribution today, and I have to Work out which mini to do next.  :)

Wow - a couple of great entries there.

Alex, that is an elderly but beautifully colourful Little John  :-*

And Guy - that Saxon... moody, atmospheric and brooding as ever. Wonderful. Who makes the figure?

Meanwhile...

No. 30 - Billman

A Perry plastic concoction, joining the retinue of Sir John Osney of Outwood...

So clarify for me fuzzy brain..... to get in the "Med-evil Painting Order" one has to paint and post here 200 figures of the period? What are the numbered figures in the post about? I know it must be clear as glass  ???, but I'm basing and painting as I read this...lol!

It's an open group painting challenge. Paint a total of 200 medieval miniatures between as many LAF members as wish to take part. Paint one, two, three, or as many as you like. All contribute to the target of 200 newly painted medieval figures. Note - they're supposed to be single figures, and no-one is allowed to post more than one figure each day.
