Lovely work Paul, as per. This isn't my era/field, but what makes it Polish, as opposed to (e.g.) Russian / German / Scandiwegian?
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

The Dress etc doesnīt make them any more polish than German etc but the makers  have on the box art "polish seige Bombard (1.st half of the XV century)" and Iīve stuck with it.
