Shadowsea returns to Kickstarter
« on: September 17, 2013, 05:26:24 PM »
Just thought I would share that Antimatter Games has launched a new campaign to fund a new edition of Shadowsea, the land-based sister game to Deep Wars.  Things have taken off quite quickly, so hopefully we can reach the funding soon and unlock lots of stretch goals.  The new miniatures are shaping up really nicely!

The campaign is still plugging along, but as is to be expected, KS is a crowded place these days.  Some WIP sculpts have been showed, which is very promising.  I think the Axibalan empire will be really really nice once all the figures are sculpted and painted!

Just an update, Antimatter Games has purchased the Dragonblood line of Shadowsea miniatures from Cavalcade wargames (who are closing their doors).  These miniatures are now available as add-ons in the KS:

Only about $3k to go till its funded.  Here's to hoping for a nice kick with these options added!

The project has been funded, and with just under 2 weeks to go we are working on unlocking some stretch goals!  Too add to the incentive, Antimatter has offered these bonus stretch goals:

The bonuses stack, so if you pledge $350 (before shipping) and we hit 45k, that's an extra 9 miniatures to add to your pledge!

Also, Brother Vinni finished sculpting the mad pirate bomber.  This sculpt really blew me away (pun intended)!

Only 24 hours to go!  First stretch goal has been passed, here's to hoping the final day unlocks a few more  :D
