Love the nurgling with the shield, not the bases so much.
The plagebearers look cool, great paint job!
I use the other worm from Gribbely as unit filler, or will when it's painted.

I like the butcher guy from Kromlech, I think I may have found a daemon prince for my Death Guard.

I love the Nurgling testudo! More like a testudewwww! Bless 'em, they think they're people.

It's Nurgle stuff like this that makes me look at my unpainted, unassembled palanquin champion and say "No. Not today."

Awesome work. Stay sick!

You won't be disappointed. It is a great figure, a clean casting with nearly zero flash. For such a large model to only come in 5 pieces it's amazing.
A dash of salt. A pinch of make believe. A dose of wishful thinking. A smidgen of truth. There you now have the recipe for a rumor.

My buddy Mr Grub suggested I make some of the stands into a min diorama so I tried to do something that'd be fun and interesting to paint, hence the shield and the dead Empire Militia. With regard to painting you need to find a technique that works for you. I had a few failed attempts but once I found the right formula that worked for me it made painting these tolerable. I love washes and I wanted to use the washes to their full affect where you can achieve subtle shades and tones with little effort. And Nurgle IMO screams for washes. Good luck!

Sorry you didn't like the bases. For me they came out exactly as I'd hoped. I had no intention of attempting to flock 10 stands and trying to get in between the figures etc. I ended up passing on the worm, the exchange rate made the cost simply too high for a unit filler. Maybe one day when the dollar isn't this, and the yen isn't that, and the Euro isn't the other the cost will come down.

Newly arrived and assembled, my Plague Hounds of Nurgle

And what would a Daemon army be with out Daemon Portal! WIP

I used Vallejo water affects to achieve the ripple effect of the portal. It came out exactly as I'd hoped. The blue is the color of the paste. These will be primed black and then airbrushed 4 shades of....blue and a light drybrush of white. I bit out the plastic Vortex and wanted it to look like the portal was spiraling up from the ground.

Sorry for the blurry Sasquatch photo.

For the standing portal I will coat the edge in the gel. I did both sides of the portal as well.
