28mm figures suitable for modern Canadian infantry
« on: September 11, 2013, 01:23:58 AM »
I was wondering if anyone manufactures good quality 28mm figures that are suitable for modern Canadian infantry. Ideally, I would love plastics with a selection of weapons options, but I would settle for metals as well. I want maybe two or three sections to use in modern skirmishes and some zombie/horror games.

Thanks.
Cheers.

If you are talking about modern as in Afghanistan, the closest you will find are US. They aren't going to be perfect, but once you paint the CADPAT, it will be close enough.

Company B make a LAV, but it's not a Canadian one as its missing the 25mm turret. I believe they also make a G-wagen...

For the Leopard IIA6 ( right for Afghanistan) you will have to get a plastic kit.

If someone made modern Canadian plastics, I would be floored...

There ought to be a joke in there about Sea King models having been out for a while.

The four on the left were made by a company called Devil Dog Designs over a decade ago and have been out of production for some time - but they may be some out there somewhere...?

(the other fellow is just a SWAT team member from Rafm that I happened to paint in CADPAT)

I guess you could always proxy USMC with M16A4s as C7s could work. Check out Eureka and the new Empress miniature line.
