« on: September 16, 2013, 02:15:06 PM »

I ran my Great Race VSF game at our local convention RECRUITS last weekend. See it here:

Looks great.  I think it would have been over the top if you painted them all their national racing colors...

Brilliant, and the race developed in a very interesting way. The tower with the observing top brass is a great touch.  8) 8) 8)

I like those crazy contraptions you made. Did you post any WIP pics?

Must say, a shocking lack of foresight on your part!  lol

Mila, most of the parts are quite recognizable if you've dealt with the toys, aside with the conversion that is number 4 and the big wheel, but truly impressive part is the paint job. And, I seem to think we've evidence that great painting is no stranger to your family.

Me, I should only paint hairy beasts, as that's how my paint turns out.  :(

I owe a great debt to the failure of the movie Atlantis.

My impression was that it did 'okay'; we DO owe debts to unreasoned optimism of marketers, for sure. Just wish they'd been so sure that we'd have a larger Tarantula from Wild Wild West, though.  lol

Oh, and toys and creatures from John Carter of Mars!
