« on: September 17, 2013, 05:41:24 PM »
Hey guys have been away but had my first pulp game skirmish using old tsar Boot Hill rules which really worked well. This is for per 1914. Will use the tops secret for 1950-73 have artisan n bob Murdock figures. Will get some pics. Looking for a figure? Which I think was in lead forum a damsel in distress type in lingerie with safari pith helmet surrounded by bob murdocks Cairo police, any help on where to get this fig

Many thanks really liked the picture and the comic book dialog bubbles. Went on to search every miniature site in uk. Found some lesbian vampires by ground zero and other interesting figures but no pith helmet girl in lingerie !! Ended up buying eureka 30s debs.  Am just getting in to this forum but will get the link up when I figure out how. Had 2 games so far. 1 set in Paris  and the second at a farm in alsalse Lorraine , near the German border. I used bob Murdocks German colonial fighting our main characters . Loads fun. Will get some pictures.  Rome was not built in a day. Thanks again.

Perhaps by giving her a mullet

Well, I actually own that set.  Along with the two ladies kissing one.

Before anyone's head explodes it was for a setup scene in a OD&D campaign (long involved story - summarized:) the models (Vampire) would be set up as a visual presentation of a verbal description from a "spy" who was watching the local head noble's daughter ["The Princess"] and a female "foreign diplomatic visitor from a far away nation" who only got a glimpse but reported it to the NPC hiring the players.

The NPC would be tasking the PCs to kill the "evil vampire" and "apprehend" the daughter for examination by the Temple (ostensibly for her own and society's good.)

Yes, there were agendas within agendas in the scenario.  I run Vampires aren't forced to be evil, ["back in the day" there was series about a male vampire, Saint <something> by a writer with 3 names all of which I have forgotten that moved through history to modern days where the vampire wasn't evil,] just most of them would be defined that way.

Unknown to the PCs the "Vampire" had known the Princess when she had visited the far away nation and the two had fallen into a "forbidden love" (by the values of the Princess' homeland) and the foreigner recently had become a Vampire and had come to try and convince her past love to run away with her.

It would allow the PCs to deal with the scenario as they discovered the various shades of truth and had to deal with their choices/actions.

Gracias,

Glenn

Madelaine de Montalia isn't (at least in the books of the series I read way too many years ago to be 100% sure of that) - "... who knows him for what he is and still loves him..."

Gracias,
