I know I've seen so many intriguing companies presented, it's a wonder your site's drive farm isn't groaning from the load.

I can only assume the bar is fairly high to be considered.

a) Care to share what are usual concerns/changes requested?

b) Can someone get by with a notice on a post that "...permission is given, no challenge made...'? Someone here might be able to come up with a boiler plate.

We have seen many fine companies here. Many though are already hosted on their author's blogs and I have often written links to them on the IHMN Blog.
Some have been submitted and I've discussed them with their authors and often I'm waiting for a reply to my suggestions.
I generally do not object to any theme that isn't indecent (and there hasn't been one yet) and on occasion pick up some minor points issues or unusual equipment (usually on the grounds of KISS), but I never criticise an author's vision.
The copyright issue was brought up by others and I'm sure we can get by with a little careful nodding in the right directions. After all we got approval from Games Workshop for In the Emperor's Name. The key thing to underline that it is a homage and is not for personal gain.

I would have suggested a separate links page, but that's serious work, and disappointing when 'I'm sure I saw a company for that...' happens.
