I agree. Let's ignore him but never forget what has turned into a pattern.

I think you'll find Howard cut his ties to Reidy quite a while ago.

Yes, but he kept it silent for a long time even though he knew what was happening.  A lot of people felt that Howard gave the company some sort of respectability and that meant they could trust it.
Howard carries his fair share of blame for promoting Reidy scams and keeping quiet about it when he finally decided that it was too much even for him.

I agree, he was in full support of the 'new Defiance team' that ran the Kickstarter and disappeared almost immediately after launching the Kickstarter.

Reidy wasn't the only person with a lack of ethics- seems like that guy draws his kind like flies to flypaper.

Well, this is pretty much what most of us expected to happen with this KS.  In regards to Howard Whitehouse, what other projects is he involved with?

http://www.pulpactionlibrary.com/Meet.php

Pulp Action Library is his company.
His little bio still refers to him working for Defiance, which he joined from the beginning when he and Tony got booted from their other scam company, Wargames Factory.

I don't think it's fair to label Wargames Factory as a scam company now...yes it was a shady thing a while back.  It survived and is now a very decent, reputable company with excellent products.

I don't want people skipping out on WF just because it is associated historically with this asshat.   :)

I think I had bought from Wargames Factory when he owned it. Nothing turned up but the new owners honoured the payment and sent me the box I was after with and extra box for the wait. I highly rate them as a company now myself.

It's funny how I believed Tony 's story when he was booted from WF, and I boycotted them for a while because I thought it was horrible what they did, forcing him out.  o_o

Luckily I didn't really want anything from WF anyway, as the quality is not to my liking.  Even more lucky for me is that scifi is not my thing, so I had no interest in becoming a Defiance fanboi.  Though, with all the setbacks they had from the beginning, I don't think I would have liked them for that long...

In fact, Wargames Factory makes also the hard-proper-plastic miniatures of Dreamforge Games and Wyrd.

those dreamforge troops are perfect.
Yea I noticed this, to me it seems like WF has very good production quality, but often some questionable design decisions. For instance their 15mm stuff has a lot of double poses on the prue, which I just can't figure a reason for, especially when its action poses. Having a GI doing the exact same pose on each base really does not anything. Its not crazy stupid but honestly considering how many products they turn around would it really be that expansive to have their guy sculpt a few more poses  ??? ??? ???
But then if you enter another designer, like with the Dreamforge stuff, and put it in their production system it's indeed darn near perfect.

I wasn't implying that Wargames Factory is a bad company now.

I know, but I didn't want anyone wandering through seeing Tony's name and linking them with the current Wargames Factory folks.  That's all.
