Beautiful!

Aren't there some interlopers there? I thought Emperor Penguins were antarctic rather than arctic creatures?

So, for completeness... My LPL 8 entry:
Hey Hammers. What did you use on the screen/mesh on the bird coup?

Ah, yes, 'polar' would have been a more adequate title. But, my dear carlos, you are not as all knowing as that: it should be plain that they are of the species Aptenodytes patagonicus ...

...rather than Aptenodytes forsteri.

To think that a learned man like you should make a mistake like that. For shame...  ;)

And thanks for all the encouraging words, friends!

Grimm

Some nylon mesh product, I supposed it is a mosquito net or from a haberdasher och cloth merchant. I cut it from the hem of one of my wife's frocks. ;)

King, Emperor..... I'm no exprt on penguins, I've only ever seen two types outside a zoo. The Fairy type off St Kilda and a rather lost and confused one at Arpoador in Rio.

Lovely work, the eye for detail is outstanding.

Brilliant work, I love it all.

Surely some sort of bravery award is in order here? "A daring raid carried out in the face of overwhelming odds, with a very high probability of fatality." Something like that?

Beautiful. An LPL entry that didn't make the cut?
