Penny Dreadful Pulp Alley
« on: October 01, 2013, 09:23:30 PM »
With the arrival of my West Wind Empire of the Dead Requiem figures I'm looking at putting together some Victorian Pulp Leagues. I'm looking at two rival Tong gangs, a police gang, a corrupt police gang, graverobbers,      an explorer's club, a detective consultancy, street thugs, a criminal mastermind's gang, a gypsy gang, and a gang of circus freaks.
There's a lot of work to be done before any see any paint but there's no shortage of inspiration!

The first of my Penny Dreadful Leagues for Pulp Alley, the
 detective consultancy of Sheraton Howell.
Left to right: Dr James Whittle (sidekick), Sheraton Howell     (leader), Myrmidon Howell (elder brother and government agent, ally), Sergeant Major McTaggart (bodyguard to Myrmidon, ally), and erstwhile benefactor Sir Henry Granville (ally).

Westwind,
From the recent Empire of the Dead kickstarter, I cannot speak high enough of how well run a kickstarter it was and some of the best sculpts ive ever received

Sorry, I should have said! Pinny is correct the figures are from West Wind's recent Empire of the Dead Requiem Kickstarter, with the exception of McTaggart who is from the earlier Gentlemen's Club set.

They all look like great figures.

I got some of their Weird WWII stuff and felt like it was a little smallish compared to my Copplestone and Artizan figs. Any idea how the EotD stuff matches up?

Dave, I'll take a comparison shot with Artisan figures tonight as I have a few Thrilling Tales figures I wanted to mix in. Cheers, Steve
