Of course you've heard of Squigs

See them in all their red and toothsome glory over on the blog:

Cool stuff. The arrangement on the base really tells you it is time to run! The brushwork is very nice and especially the teeth provid good contrast to guide the eye. Are squigs always red? If so forget about it, but if they can have different colours it might be an idea to have some blue, green and yellow ones in your next batch. Finally the red might benefit from either one more highlight or deeper shadows, just to bring out the detail a bit more.

However, generally speaking a wonderful unit with lots of charcater. I always loved the crazy ways of the Goblins.

In the Warhammer background Squigs are red, so as a traditionalist that's what colour mine will be staying (though they do look good in other colours too).
I'm pretty happy with the shading and highlighting IRL, the camera always flattens these things a bit.
Thanks for the feedback.

I like the hoppas - I may have to do some of those myself next...

The hoppas are some of the nicest minis in the army  :D

And if you play warhammer, they are nice and random!

Squigs are one of G.W's  delightfully silly  & fairly lethal creations. Your versions are BEAUTIFULLY painted examples. GREAT WORK!

Nice-looking unit.  They stand up well to close-ups (which is better than can be said for most of the guys they will be attacking).
