I like!

I am just about making a God of Battles army out of very old Citadel undeads (LOTS of Skeleton Horde skellies!), so inspirational stuff like this is most welcome!  :)

Great looking set of models and really good work on the rusted metals.

Unfortunately, I'm VERY busy at work and in the garden right now, but my initial 24 pts. army of lots of Ghouls (Mantic zombies). and a unit of Undead knights should be ready in just a few weeks' time (if I get stuck in, that is). I'll then start rebasing and touching-up some plastic skelly warriors  :) I have quite a few old wights and other undead metal minis to use for the army, too, so it's going to be a 'on-and-off' ongoing projects alongside other projects (just like every other extensive project I start.. mind like a butterfly, and all..  ::)  )

The Command Group. Mostly Dead Mount & Rider are all SPLENDIDLY DONE! The twin tailed comet symbol is especially effective with the Skeletons...a VERY strong Apocalypse feel to it. You've got the Army of Darkness down pat.

Last trooper and C21 Undead Cavalry model finished, just need to base them, here's the cavalry model:

Here's the WIP for the unit leader, a Lahmian Vampire summoning another Skeleton to do her bidding.....

I plan to add more filler around the skeleton to give the look of it having pushed itself up and out of the ground.

Very nice paint scheme so far. Very dark and forbidding.
I like the lahmian vampire unit leader too, look forward to seeing it finished.

Next update!

Vampire is completed:

I wanted her to have a cold skin tone, so mixed GW Daemonette Hide with Vallejo Rosy Flesh and then added some Genestealer Purple to the mix as I went through the shadows.

Next up is the C21 Undead Cavalry 'Staff Officer'  ;)

Again I used muted tones to tie him back in to the infantry and the overall dirty look of the regiment.

Here's a unit shot:

I now need to finish the Vampires base and 2 more troopers and then the unit is finished  :D

Cheers

Gary
