This is a relation from third IHMN (second for myself) played in our club. For this game we have been much better prepared, so we had quick reference sheets, the teams charts - all of that gave our game much more speed this time. I did not won this game, but I killed Dr Watson instead. I failed to kill Holmes (he have cowardly run away...). For the full raport from the game:

You forgot to mention that I killed your Martian princess, evil oppressor of the masses that she was on the 2nd last turn. A strike for anarchists everywhere!   

A much smoother game than last time all round. I learnt that Hunting rifles are just ... Not nice to be up against. My mechanical abominations shall return, with some modifications so this time they work.

I wrote about it, but as I said in my post on my blog I do not really know the story behind all of those characters, like this evil Martian princess. I know of course who is Holmes and Dr Watson, all knows that, but this is all. Few years ago I did not have any idea who is Dr Who for example.
As for this game I can said, that I prefer much more the guys with normal rifles or carabines than with the swords and spears. It is end of 19th centrury, not the Hyborian Age

I was delighted to discover that my spear armed maidens were able to take out the "dustbins" if enough of them could get into combat.  Yes Campbell I think the contraptions need to be re-specified.
