The Rhodesian AML-60s were mainly used for Airfield defence, the Elands saw quite a lot of use; most Selous Scout cross border columns generally included a couple (painted Frelimo green) for extra firepower.

Both my brothers served in the South African military so for me this is certainly one of the very best threads fantastic that you have been able to bring such a topic into vivid realism well done!
