Coming soon...

Could be interesting foes for adventurers, or naval landing parties from various eras.

Love'm.

Would look the business with all kinds of sailors.
I have a horror wereshark which needs a cult following and those would fit the ticket quite nicely.

Not to worry. I just posted the part I thought might be interesting to colonial gamers. They might have missed it in the Pulp section.

Besides, anyone who would complain about having to see Bob Murch's work multiple times has a total lack of taste.  ;)

Oh my. And to think that I just watched "White Savage" of 1943 vintage. Coincidence? I beg to differ, my dear Watson  :o

However, the movie was sooo bad (and not in a good way) that I am not in any way inclined to venture to the South Seas, in contrast to when I watched "Lt. R. Crusoe, U.S.N." back in 2004. Of course, that one had both Nancy Kwan AND Dick van Dyke, so I might be excused. lol

Can't imagine (thank goodness!) what it would be like to be hit with that 'sword' lined with sharks' teeth! It's the same sort of cringe you feel when you consider the Mesoamerican obsidian-bladed swords!

Potentially another use for the Conquistadores too, many of these islands, like the Solomons for instance were first sighted by the Spanish.  Now with some OG Moros, Eureka Dyaks and these Fernão de Magalhães here we come!

Hula is more of a Polynesian thing, I think.

Edit: I was going to make a bad pun and say that I'd check on Tikipedia. But upon investigation, it seems there really is a website called Tikipedia.  ;D

I'm just surprised no one has mentioned the movie "Rapa Nui" yet!

Those are really nice minis!

That might be because Rapa Nui is Polynesian, and thousands of miles away from Melanesia.  :)
