Tiny EM4 Spaceship
« on: October 15, 2013, 10:21:17 PM »
Had a crack at one of the little EM4 fighters for a bit of a change. The purple looks brighter in real life!

Nine more to go, possibly after a trip to the opticians because I was squinting like a mofo for most of the painting process.

I like it   :). Got a pic of it next to a bigger model or a coin?

They're quite nice minis and paint up very well. Nice work.

well done - they are thumbnail sized

the bases are monstrous.
I have put mine on steel pins, but there might be clear thin rods available

Nice colour but the paint does look a little thick mind.

I used some of the GW "drybrush paint" they came out with a couple of years ago and I bought on a whim- it's really thick and this was my first time using it, it does make the highlights look a bit harsh!

Drybrush paint? Another strange gw product. ;) nice thinned paints would do the world of good with these.  Like the RT medic. Nice contrast of green with red lenses.

Haha, just one in a long line of bizarre products. It's a weird clumpy thing, looks like paint that had gone off and was re-bottled as... wait a minute!  ;)

Thanks for the comments on the medic, I was pretty chuffed with how the shades came out!

Thanks Zizi, and it is indeed a Silent Death ship! Em4 sell/produce them now, £2.55 a pack of 12

I know. I still have a couple of metal ones somewhere. ( I believe near the base of the lead/plastic/resin pile ::))
Back in the days, a friend owned all rulebooks and minis and had even organized a campaign that run for more than a year.
Fun was had by all  :)

Awesome, I first saw Silent Death mentioned in Arcane magazine back in the mid 90s and really wanted to give it a go, but lack of funds and a gaming circle that was Warhammer Or Nothing put the kibosh on me! I almost picked up a copy at a show last year but I was too skint!
