Easy wasteland trees!
« on: October 18, 2013, 11:52:24 PM »
Was clearing my partners allotment a month back and was pulling up plants and with that came some poppies.
The is the root of one of them.

If you got green thumbs, get them in the garden and pull them up when they hit about a meter tall! ;D

Ok I lied about easy, but they don't look too bad. c:

To prepare them is pretty simple, too. Cut the root off and leave it to dry out inside somewhere. Something cooler - when it's still "wet" from the ground, try peeling layers off of the thickest portion of the root, it can give really weird, spiky textures..

If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

With the players I've had around a table, I'd say yes.
I'm more worried about how I throw my terrain around! D:
Paint on a bit of varnish and the branches will toughen up.
