If we were to use the core IHMN rules for another genre what would you like it to be?

Not sure if it has not already been done, but I think they would be ideal for putting together some sci-fi factions as in Inquisitor.

Of course, going down the sci-fi route, anything is possible.

Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques là-dessus.

Definitely Pulp.  Afterall, it really wouldn't be too big a jump from where IHMN is now.

To be perfectly honest, I think that a Pulp setting could be done without any real differences being made to the existing rules.
No real need for any changes, it would already work as is.

Dark fantasy, as in Warhammer Fantasy. It'd require a quick couple of tweaks to the rules, including the addition of a couple of things such as summoning.

Inquisitor from 40K is another great idea!

If it has a Games Workshop copyright you are sunk from the word go.

If you want to play W40K Inquisitor using rules very similar to IHMN then look no further than 'In the Emperor's Name'. These rules were the precursor to IHMN and what got us the gig with Osprey in the first place. They have since been taken into their third edition by our friend Gavin and can be found in all their glory here: http://iten-game.org/

This is a set of Inquisitor rules for those chaps who can remember Rogue Trader. it has everything from the Inquisition and Space Marines to Squats, Genestealer Cults and Zoats  :D

And best of all it is absolutely free!!

Hi Pete,

We've just published a Victorian Dalek company list called The Ancients of Kaled by Alex Bagosy here: http://inhermajestysname.wordpress.com/player-authored-material/

I'm sure someone here would like to create an 1895 Torchwood at some point, and you could use The Prince of Wales Extraordinary company as UNIT  lol

I wasn't going to write them a letter about it!

When we published In the Emperor's Name! it took them just three months to find us :(.  At the time it was just a supplement being offered on a little known blog.

As it was fan-published and free they demanded a large disclaimer statement be included and threatened legal action if we didn't.  Given their current aggressive tactics I'm still expecting a cease & desist order to come rolling in.
