Specialist Games
« on: October 20, 2013, 05:30:00 PM »
Can anyone tell me what is going on in the Specialist Games section of the GW website? I frequent the area for Mordheim inspiration. There has been a decreasing amount of miniatures available in this category lately and seem to be almost nothing available now. Is there going to be a relaunch on some of those games? Can we hope for new products here in the future?

Specialist games is gone, the whole range is gone, whatever they have left are whatever tehy had a lot of stock of (Bloodbowl is safe theough I believe due to the PC game).

Basically they were never going to re-do all those old models in Failcast so they pulled the ranges instead.

DO NOT hold your breath about a re-launch, the current model for GW is one un-supported game every couple of years (e.g. Space Hulk, Dreadfleet).

So basically it's gone and it's gone for good.

Yeah, that is what I figured. I guess I was trying to keep my hopes up though.

It would be nice if they would sell the right to games like mordheim and Necromunda to another company especially if GW has no plans to continue supporting them.

That would be great. But it's GW so it will NEVER happen.  >:(
I suggest keeping an eye out here to see what you can pick up and look on ebay as well.
