Thanks Ray and intend to do just that with Home Guard V Paras and maybe regular infantry for both and Peter Pig cover some nice stuff now for this 'What If' period. Also fancy doing something set in 1945 in the final days against the Russians in Germany. At present most of my collection is still packed in boxes till i get a new place to live but two projects i now feel like doing once i've found a place and have plenty of miniatures to cover both and also have some AFV's for the periods.

Looking forward to seeing other peoples projects develop and will be keeping an eye on this thread :)

Watching this thread with great interest. I have a small American collection for FoW but I'm not sure how inclined I am to the ruleset, considering rebasing them for Chain of Command and getting some Germans

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't posted on this topic for a while but been busy with a few painting commissions and just got a full time contract with work and alot more hours= more money to buy miniatures. Iv got almost two army painted now and I will be dipping them this week ready to start playing a few games.

I noticed that there has been ALOT of interest in this idea so as me and my friends start to go through the basics of playing bolt action but with 15mm are there any questions people might have or any particular part you would like to see me test and explain?

@John B here is my most recent BA/15mm AAR. The club ran a one day campaign. Not the best pics as they're off my cell phone but Fiery Monkey Boy's blog has better pictures of BA games.

Sweet! I would love to see a closer look to a single model. What do you use to dip them? Also a before-after picture could be really appreciated i think! :)

Cheers
Jack

Sorry for the long delay but finally got round to playing bolt action in 15mm and wow I'm hooked, hear are a few pics if tonight's game :)

This was just a small test game to see how the rules worked with 15mm
We opted not to change any measurements or distances and simply ran the game as if it was 28mm and it flowed perfectly
The smaller miniatures gave more of a realistic feel to the distances each weapon has as well as troop movement ect

What scale did you use for the railroad ? Ho, N, or anything else ? Or is it scratchbuilt railroad ?

thanks
