New Company - Captain MacAllister's Watch
« on: October 24, 2013, 11:44:03 AM »
For my first company, I wanted something simple, so I built a Naval Brigade with a few fantastical elements to keep it interesting. I've not playtested this list because... well, I don't have an opponent so I haven't played the game yet. I just wanted to design a company around what I fancied painting. If you spot anything terrible or unbalanced in the pdf, please let me know.

Here are some pictures of the company as it stands - bases not done and a couple of dodgy eyes that need sorting. I also have a few pygmies in progress:

If anyone in North London wants a crack at MacAllister and company, let me know!

Wow!! Very nice - what's with the mask?

Thanks!

The mask is explained in the attached pdf. Short answer: possible madness, possible possession, impeccable dress sense.

Wonderful figures, excellent story. Can't wait to see the pygmies.

And I love the mask.

How will you be basing these guys? Jungle/rainforest terrain because of their sojourn to the land of the pygmies, perhaps?

I was talking aloud to myself. A habit of the old: they choose the wisest person present to speak to; the long explanations needed by the young are wearying.

I'm not sure about the bases yet. I wondered about doing something a little more neutral - in my mind they operate wherever the Admiralty or MacAllister's whims take them. But your idea is more interesting - I'll give it some more thought.
