I like the guy with his face off in the first load of figures. very nice work indeed. If they were available commercially I would probably buy them.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

Hi folks and thanks for the replies.
These figures will be available in a few weeks. They were to be cast next week but after a chat with Nic at Eureka I'll be sculpting another half dozen zeds and I have another couple of survivors in various stages of completion. So when they're all complete they will be available.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Great news...

How about some zed first responders?

I'm still sculpting my life away and I've finished a few more figures: A couple of survivors and another zed.
I've decided to do 13 zeds - 3 sets of four & one special. Once they're cast and on the Pulp 28's web site the special will be included in a bulk set made up of all 3 sets making it a set of 13.

With the survivors I'm doing and initial set of 4. These will be the two below plus the guy I previously posted and another lady that's almost ready.

Anyway, here's what I've finished recently:

KOOL.

Looks like you sculpted an exit wound on the back of the 'Bloater'?

Nice work, Iain.
I can see a use for all those Zeds as the clothing is, rather cleverly, non period-specific.

That is easily fixed, though.

And  the zombie sculpting continues.
My cunning plan is to do 3 sets of 4 zeds with a 13th zed only available if purchased as a full set of all 12.

Anyway, here are the latest additions.

Have really enjoyed watching your progress. Will probably spring for a batch once they are available.

Some feedback on the last one - angles on the legs look a little too balanced/athletic/coordinated for a zed - or it could be the photo angles makes it look odd to me.

Just my .02 Lupins...  :)

That is exactly what I am doing, but with Cultists, not Zeds.

I agree. I think it's the head that makes it look to balanced/coordinated. But in various clips you'll often see a newly dead/rage zombie getting twitchy and riled up just before they charge in. And that's what I was trying for with this one. But it's very hard to get that twitching effect on a static figure.

How is the sculpting coming along?  I'm looking forward to picking up a set!  Any idea of when they might go up for sale?
