In the Pacific
« on: October 27, 2013, 07:58:14 PM »
Hello.
I have painted some more models for my Pacific Campaing games. Because it was inevitable  :?, I have diversified my Allied contingent so I have painted some US Marines from Brigade Games and a pair of Chindit Characters from Warlord Games; all of them, from Paul Hicks:

Cheers!

Very nice indeed. Any chance on a bit of a rundown on the paints you used?

really nice well painted miniatures. i like the Artillery officer (forgot the name... me silly) quite a lot. The blood effect is quite realistic. Colonel Fergusson is also nice.

Wonderfully done!  The wounded fellow looks like he's about to have a little revenge.   :D

I can't remember his name but he is a posthumous VC winner after chasing the Japanese back off the hill after taking the sword from the chap that did for his arm.

I think it might be Cairns from the South Staffs. There is a good account of the action in Major Calvert's book.
