Funny because 3 units charged the 2nd Mississippi: the 14the Brooklyn, the 95th NY and the 6th Wisconsin of the Iron Brigade so I must say they are in my plans: frock coats, sacks coats and various shapes of Hardee hats. Maybe some gaiters but they should have disappeared in July 1863

I am going to send the reference material for the sculptor to my good friend Don Effinger (you can read his last article on ACW artillery in WI) to have his approval.

Cheers

Some proper Western Federal troops would be nice as well would mostly slouch hats and former Hardee hats without insignia; blanket rolls; sack coats and frock coats some with State shell jackets (IL, OH, IA, IN).

If your soldiers are compatible w Perry, there are certainly some gaps to fill:

Cavalry. The Perry's are adequate, but among their earlier offerings and a bit devoid of character. Some nice Johnny Reb cavalry in open jackets with an assortment of firearms and charging with pistols and shotguns, as well as sabres would be fantastic.

IIRC, their dismounted cavalry also needs command sets.

I do agree Huevans: cavalry is certainly not as well represented as it should be. There are a lot of different uniforms and weapons that are too rarely seen and confederate cavalry deserve a better treatment.

For the moment I plan to develop rather infantry but cavalry is on my to do list with either mounted and dismounted soldiers as I think there is a lot to do.

The caster should send me the first masters this week so I can verify every detail is finely cast. Pre-order will start as soon as I receive them.

Cheers
