"Watch 'em run amuck, catch 'em as they fall
Never know your luck when there's a free-for-all
Here a little dip, there a little touch
Most of 'em are goners so they won't miss much"

Looks like a fun set-up. I love seeing people experiment with less-popular gaming settings. And yes, I know that the musical is set two years after what you're doing, but it's pretty close...

The music is much appreciated.

1830 and 1848 have special meaning to me. It's when my family left Europe. Next will come a Victorian Sci Fi game.

I wonder if the Perry ACW rioters would work reasonably well w their Carlist Wars French foreign Legion line in this scenario?

They should. I also find that Call of Cthulhu angry villagers useful, as well as 1789 San Culottes. Mexican American war figures provide my military figs but Napoleonic or Crimean War figs would work just as well. There are Texas War of Independence figs out there which could work well for Carlist actions. We live in a blessed time for miniatures.
