*whew*

Hadn't checked back in quite awhile, but reading how I was supposed to be looking for an ambull...  :o

Actually, I did look at the time, and have had several trips searching in the basement for other things, serendipity being the most reliable search method, and still never found one.

Delighted you did!

So much awesomeness in the interim, I must say. What RT players fear to call a target rich environment.

My recollection of ambulls are they are ambush preds, right? Pop out of the ground? Maybe have a small crater to represent that?

Knowing of my interest in 28mm wildlife, the proprietor of Krakon Games sent me this pre-release set of "Cirripods", which will be excellent for use as Rogue Trader "Bouncers", themselves a riff on the alien in the 1970s John Carpenter movie Dark Star.

I painted the satisfyingly heavy texture on the models quickly over the last night or two.  One more bizarre entry in the project ticked off the list :)

The short blog post is here.

Thanks for looking :)

Lovely.  That texturing looks like a joy to paint.
