questions on modern insurgents and french troops in 20mm

Carmarama does 1/72 diecasts that are great for use with 20mm. Though to be honest I just buy cars when I see then cheap- check their appropriateness next to a figure and if it looks close enough I use it, if not, well I'll get a decent wreck out of it.

I'll keep a plastic 1/72mm mini in my pocket when I'll do my shopping, and compare with miniature cars I see in stores

I went into 2 big stores (one "wallmart-style", and one big toy store) and didn't find any vehicle to use as technicals  Plenty of european city cars only.


I believe it's something related to nation culture. Here in France we're not using pickup trucks, so we don't find toys representing them.

I guess I'll have to order them.

cararama do pick ups and other useful vehicles in 72 diecasts, plenty on ebay but the postage may be off putting to france sadly.

that's the point. It's why I will probably have to buy accurate scale resin technicals, but I'll group my order to combine shipping.
