Brilliant and really inspiring stuff everyone, all deserving of recognition, Jim your Dagonites are stunning and that Deep One makes me want to shell out the $90 and have a go at him myself.

Congrats to all the winners and I must concur, some really fine entries. And although I didn't get to finish in time I'm really glad that the contest has both encouraged me to work on my painting skills anew and has shown me that I can't do those marathon sessions anymore and from now on I have to work for a short amount of time spread throughout the week. The results fall short of my previous efforts to be sure, but I'm starting to appreciate the new style I've been forced to adopt. So thanks SA, Uncle Mike, Lidless and everyone else on this wonderful board for giving me back my favorite hobby (next to collecting moldy tomes that is.) Fhtagn!
