The forum is a masterpiece!!  :-*

All the Roman gang stuff is becoming a little hard to ignore and if I was to do some of it, it would have to be done on a table like Paul's amazing city.

Paul,
This was an inspirational book to me when I was a kid. I don't know if you've seen it before. But your project made me look for it again. It might be of interest to you.

HALF done? Yikes!

By the by, you could maybe put a small fountain in the centre of the Macellum instead of a full Tholos?

The other Forum has a water thingy
http://paulsbods.blogspot.de/2013/12/forum-romanum.html
but a fountain sounds a good idea. The Tholos is half finished..
I knew the truck didnīt want to hit me...it had dodge written on the front

Oh, haha, I meant instead of a Tholos if you didn't have the room (as you were saying on the blog). I was reading that some Macellums didn't always have a full Tholos and had fountains instead. But if a Tholos fits, so much the better!

A Tholos.  Where fish were sold, or the place where official weights and measures were held for reference or as shrines to the gods of the market place

Paul, your threas inspires again and again. Now finally a piece I would be able to build, too. Seriously, I liek the idea of having a place such that in the midst of the market. Put to the list of things to be built.
