Oh great! That's what happens if you just follow the letters and not the idea behind rules. What a waste of time and what a shipload of b.s.

This is total BS. Is there anything that us Americans can do to try and clear his good name? I mean, Bob's been providing a wonderful product to the hobby for decades and I don't think he's ever done anything to warrant this sort of crap.

Jeez, this if totally FUBAR.

The first time I ever crossed the Canadian border on my own the border guard warned me that the border closed at 7PM (or whatever) and that I would need an alternate crossing when I returned later in the evening. He then gave detailed instructions on how to cross at an unmanned gate on a dirt road a mile away.

I so miss the old days.

I don't think the Canadians are the ones rushing across the border to get "our" jobs.  Must be nice to work the chushy jobs on that border rather than the hard one.  Looks like Bob ran into a Super Trooper.  Too bad because I don't know who in America makes U.S. Marines from between the wars........

This is hardly news. US border guards are horrible. I almost got turned around at the border when going to visit Privateer Press last year.

I travel to the US as little as possible because of the numerous bad run-ins I have had with US border guards.

Bad luck for Bob but this really is to be expected from the US border services.

What a load of bollocks, and I thought NAFTA was meant to be an American equivalent of the free market in Europe. :?

Not to the same extent but it is supposed to allow people like Bob more latitude to move across the border.

Doesn't mean a thing if some border guard decides to screw you over though

Wow. Now that deserves a letter writing campaign, if anything does.
