Does anyone make 28mm Italian Motociclisti?
These would be Russia, but if there are some with sun hats, I can always lop heads off.
I have some Perry on their way, and thinking of adding some motorcycles to the troops. I have searched high and low ... nothing ...

What about using German motorcycle riders, and converting? Could it be horrid?

Any thoughts? Anyone? Anyone?  :)

Hi Grant,

Pretend your troops are equipped with them until such is released.

Just a thought.

Cheers,

Helen

 lol

I could just motorcycle sounds when moving them, eh?

Seriously though, what about using the excellent foundry Germans, lopping off their heads? Adding helmet heads? They are wearing baggy riding gear, mostly non-descript.

WW2 Motorcycles are quite hard to come by, but there are some others which you can use... the 1st corps ones are quite nice:

Hello, I am the poor man with too much time spent on the internet. Ask and ye shall receive. I do accept cash, Paypal or mini donations as tips for my finder services. j/k  lol

Sadly only Bersaglieri only, but I think they was the only motorcycle riders for Italy, may be wrong. I am no expert.
The website is in Italian, figs was purchased from another company that closed shop. Nice figure line, the translator is a bit to be desired and better shots of close ups would be nice. Not sure how they would scale up but the reviews I read prior on this line was very favorable.

Hey! Are those the old strategia-e-tactica? (I'm sure I botched that!)

A good starting point. I'm on my phone, have to check them out on the big computer.

In the Bolt Acfion rules, only bersaglieri can be upgraded to bikes, so that's not a biggie.

Thanks for that! I have stack of old bitcoins, I'm sure they're not worth anything, that'll do as a tip  lol

OK, had a good look.

The 1st corps are too WW1 - the style of handlebars and the rectangular gas tank just scream early 20th century! But that is a good reference for later..  ;)

The Italian company ... I don't think I like them. Very weak sculpt, unfortunately, I think it is the old Straegi-e-tactica. Wouldn't stand up next to those pillars of sculpting, the Perry Miniatures company!

SO instead I just ordered an Empress canone 75/27, and a couple more packs of Perry infantry to lop steel helmets off of.

I really have a desire to bash up a Pak 97/38 antitank gun...

Motociclisti remain on the wishlisti though...
