Teensy tiny pirates, yarrrr! P15. More pirates!

Or, how to comprehensively destroy your eyesight in one sitting...

The first few test figures for the wargame proposed here...

The figures are 10mm Pendraken. Three figure parties mounted on 20mm washers. These are the first multiple based figures I've done in 30 years!

Silent Invader kindly sent me a few samples. Think most of these come from the AWI range. They don't quite look like pirates - the clothing is (surprisingly) fairly distinctive, even in this tiny scale...

That said, on the tabletop, who's ever going to get close enough to find out?!









And with a (tall!) 28mm Black Scorpion pirate for scale...

Wowzer!

They are incomprehensibly good .... That's my thoughts of a basecoat and a wash scuppered!

The figures are from a mix of SYW, AWI and I think WSS packs.

Lovely groupings, 3 to a 20mm washer works great.

Oh dear, this is going to go from bad to worse. This is madness I tell ya, 40mm is the new 28mm not 10mm! ;)

I've just ordered a few bags of these little blighters... Cheap as chips. But I'm only going to paint just as many as I need AND NO MORE.

(How many do I need Steve? 30 or 40 in total, including gun crews?)

Now to find a ship - yarrr!
