That's an interesting model there. Have to take a second look at 7 Sins and see what else I missed that might be worth a paint-up.

Blame the sculptor

It's very nice in that it's very unsettling. A bit outside of my regular "style" of miniature, but I liked it a lot anyways.

There's actually a lot of very paint-worthy models, though (as Kaiser found out) the sheer mass of miniatures is a bit daunting. A lot of nice and cute gribblies in there, if that's your sort of thing.

Got the first miniature of 2017 painted. Its a halfling I got in the LAF Secret Santa exchange.

Fun miniature to paint. Its always nice to paint small characterful miniatures like that (Goblins have that too I find). Its super easy, and goes fast.

I'm finally getting around to that fantasy 100YW project Kaiser talked about a long time ago over on his blog. Better late than never, eh

These guys are hired swords, meant for a scenario next week-ish. I'll try to write more about them when the whole warband is done.
Miniatures are from Claymore Castings, and a Frostgrave Cultist with a head from a Frostgrave Soldier.

Those look great! I like the fellow with the axe and kettlehat the best - the muted heraldic colours are perfect, and his face is suitably grim.

My favourite too. The face is really well sculpted, if a little hard to photograph. He looks like he's very determined to axe some poor sod.
I have 7 more men at arms from the same range waiting for paint.
Can't wait to get them on the table.
