Lenin Rolls Royce Car- Winter Version 1/72 Scale
« on: November 16, 2013, 04:41:25 AM »
V.I. Lenin’s 1915 Rolls Royce was fitted with rubber tracks on the rear wheels of his car to cope with the deep snow of Russian winters. Displays well as either a collector item or war game vehicle. 1/72 Scale metal kit.

Are the colours authentic? It seems a bit gaudy for a Bolshevik. A nice model though, if I played in 1/72 I'd definately have to have one (though I'd re paint it)

And you think that the Bolsheviks were painting everything we could exclusively in red?  ;)

Here's a photo this car. It stands in one of the Moscow museums.

Such cars were used in the Russian army.

HI Guys:  Based on the information I had when the kit was designed,  the colors of the model were accurate for the period of time it was in use by Lenin.

I do appreciate Cuprum's photos.  They are very interesting.

Thanks ever so much.
