I think they would need to sack me first Yankeepedler and get a proper sculptor first:)
Much as I like your work Paul I think the Dads Army figures are poor likenesses of the actors in the roles. An honest opinion and I'm not the only one. Did you enjoy your visit to Matt the other week?

Would love to see a Hicksy sculpt of Orwell and Hemingway! >:D

This suggestion is a stoke of genius! Any chance of this actually happening?

not a bad idea
SCW wise however I'd rather see Porco Rosso alias Marco Pagot meeting Corto Maltese

Following my recent course of making comments on things I know nothing about, I imagine that sculpting a 'likeness' of a specific individual is a whole different ball game to sculpting just a generic 'face'.

But anyway... 'Home Guard' is somewhat removed from SCW, even with my usual laxity on topic drift matters.  :)

Hemmingway (and perhaps a cameraman) would be kind of cool.

From pictures I've seen of George Orwell, I think Mr Hicks sculpted his real face in any case.  ;)

Oddly he does bear a remarkable resemblance to Hemingway and looks too well-fed to be Orwell for my mind. Cracking figure though regardless.

But we're drifting again... must try harder to stay on topic!  ;)
