25/28mm Basing
« on: November 17, 2013, 12:30:54 PM »
I have several large medieval armies from way back, based on beer mats, painted green and flocked, they all look their age now. I want to give them all an update and am open to suggestions, products and styles etc. I was thinking of mdf bases and then what?

WSS has an article this month on a guy who buys  prepainted older armies, touches them up and for your purposes, rebases them to make them more uniform.  You may see some nice tips.

As far as materials, mdf is great.  Where are you located?  If you're in the UK, redera makes a nice base set that gives you some singles and and some more multi-fig bases.

Cheers!
