I've been hoarding it for years so it's nice to actually use it.

I got a bit more work done on the livery when I should have been working on the LPL.

The base is pretty weak though, it's just 2mm plasticard.

I still need to make stalls and decide how to finish the floor and roof.

That's a great piece, I use 1.5mm plywood, which is strong enough. I have a fair stock if want some.
Cheers

Work on progress of the ramshackle blacksmiths that will be an option as a lean to against the livery.

It still needs a forge and chimney and some more corrugated metal. I kept the roof high to tie in with the livery windows and I had an idea about hanging bits of junk from the inside, but that's unlikely to be practical. There is no interior roof pieces to allow figures to be easily placed.

The livery itself is now rebased on modelling ply (thanks to Deedles!). This looks much better and the livery is much more stable ( ;D).

Looking good, mate.

What did you use for the corrugated?

sick chops! 8)

Is it corrugated cardboard? It looks a little 'larger' than the correct scale styrene sheet, but I use the card and think it's fine. (just peel off the flat backing?)

Cheers

Thanks guys. It's Wills plasticard with corrugated texture. It should look ok once it's painted!

This spells trouble for the livery...  ;) I hope they have the town well nearby :)

Great looking building the whole livery  :-*

I haven't done much on my old west town since the LPL,  primarily due to a slipped disc and sciatica. I can't sit for very long so painting has had to wait. I did have an opportunity to salvage some bark though and my small team of minions helped clean it up this afternoon. I'm not entirely sure how I want to use it yet. Some of it will be scatter terrain but I may use other bits to make something more substantial. I certainly have enough for options.

I am with James on this:
That amount of cork deserves to become some type large mesa as well as scatter terrain.
Looking forward to seeing whatever you do with it all, mate.

That is quite some haul of bark! Even though it hasn't been painted up yet, I can already see the potential it has!
