Ten more cowboys painted! Apparently making photos of two rows of miniatures is a pain for the focus.

This is great :) next step would be to get an old wooden tobacco box or a tea chest and use to to hold all the terrain.
never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

The miniatures are freakin' lovely and the buildings are fantastic...making me want to do a travel version of SnS... lol  Gorgeous stuff. It takes some special brush work to warm me up to 15mm figures.  Those look beautiful.

Thanks!! Now i'm waiting for the first sunny day to paint with the airbrush the two buildings. I'm totally inexpert with that evil machine, but i have to learn!

Meanwhile, not a real update, just a photo i'd like to share:

This project has convinced me I need a 15mm version of my town Schitte Creek and its denizens. I'm running out if room with my 28mm stuff.

Hi guys! While i'm a little stucked with the last 20-ish havanitos due to some 15mm scifi projects (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=60892.0    and   http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=61684.0) i've finally released the short article about the making of the havanitos box.

http://www.thelazyforger.com/tutorials/los-havanitos-box/

In the article there's a downloadable picture made of other old west papers from the net as well. I don't have the right for those, but there's no commercial purpose, so i suppose it's ok!

Some monty python influence somewhere too. :D

Last sunday, at a local market, i found this train at 2,50 euros. I took it up.

it fits perfectly with my havanitos, and i will now paint it, together with the buildings i did a few months ago. Sadly, my time for painting is limited, and since i can use airbrush only outside and it's not ...really hot, it might take a while...

Great find for 2.50! Is it a particular size or a toy?

I am not sure: it was on a pedestal, and protected in a styrene box.. but was cheap. I think it was from some cheap "collector" series.

Blast from the past! - and apologies for the threadomancy!

First building done, it was kind of a test piece and some experiments were done! next ones will be (are) far more complex!

Cheers!

Yep looking good, the little bits of extra detailing help to bring it to life.
