28mm Monty Python & the Holy Grail Miniatures?
« on: November 22, 2013, 03:01:12 PM »
vaguely seem to recall seeing a figure similar to Graham Chapman as King Arthur in MP&THG but can't seem to find it as well as the coconut-bearing "horse"/servant Patsy. Did I imagine it?

I have the Knights Who Say Ni figures from Sgt Major's and Tim the Enchanter figure from Reaper. I also have a "Trojan Bunny."

Most of the other figures from the movie I could get by with Baron's Wars era figures with a paint job. Would some of the Fireforge foot figures make good fodder for conversion?

I am aware of this awesome site with conversion from Warhammer figures:

But I am looking for any other miniatures in 28mm to use. In particular, figures with the distinctive helmets of the French taunters. A killer rabbits would also help.

There was a Patsy figure from Citadel.
Sold as a servant?

Hmm, I'm sure it's not exactly the mini you're thinking of, but ebob's Edward I sculpt from the "Rebellion" line always made me think of Graham Chapman as Arthur.

Warploque Miniatures also had a more heroic-scale 28mm not-Bedivere. I think his shop is currently closed while he handles his Kickstarter, but I imagine that model will be available again soonish.
