Bauchi, Nigeria (NAFP) – A Shasvastii suicide bombers killed at least nine people and wounded 4 others at a busy market in the northern Nigerian city Bauchi on Wednesday, less than a week after an attack in the town killed three others. The bombing was followed up by an attack on security forces that responded to the attack.

The Combined Army has not yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but blame will likely fall on the alien terrorist group.
Bauchi police commander Adenrele Shinaba said the blast at the Kantin Pumping station in Bauchi was "a suicide bombing carried out by a Shasvastii infiltrator in hijab followed by five alien insurgents engaging emergency responders".
The Chinese hold military responsibility for this area and attacks are frequent on the now-nearly deserted city just outside of the quarantine zone. Chinese forces were in the city still investigating the previous attack and responded quickly.
After the initial explosion four attackers moved towards the destroyed building from the East shooting down civilians as they came across them.

Chinese security forces moved transports in and the soldiers quickly started rounding up wounded for treatment and the air cars moved them away from the combat zone, Shinaba said.

"It does appear that one of the insurgents had been near the building when the suicide bomber detonated her explosive," he said.
The air space over the town was in dispute for a short period of time, Shinaba said.
Wein Mu, Chinese sectional commander, said that forces secured the civilians and then moved out leaving the area to the insurgents.

"In six sorties the air cars were able to evacuate all the living civilians as well as our soldiers," he said, adding "Guija TAG units were then readied and deployed to the area but the insurgents were gone before they arrived."

"Early on in the attack the insurgents made inroads into the center of town. One was able to take up a position with a good line of fire and caught a number of civilians in open ground," he said, " We dispatched airborne troopers to engage that one, later identified as one of the Exrah, but last minute evasive maneuvers caused the Tiger soldiers to miss their target dramatically. Sadly one of the soldiers was killed in an exchange of gunfire with the insurgent after being caught in the open."
Mu explained that the Chinese forces briefly lost control of the air space over the battlefield allowing the insurgent to deploy their own airborne forces.
"A Rasyrat dropped in behind our brave Zhanshi who had just pushed a number of civilians onto a transport and watched it take off," he said.
The resultant firefight left two of the Zhanshi dead while the other three were able to evacuate when an air car came to pick them up.

"It is at that point that the Cadmus came from hiding, killing a civilian as he rushed to support the Rasyrat," Mu said.

Seeing the aircar pick up the remaining Zhanshi the Cadmus rushed the troops on top of a convenience store, he said.

"We moved a sniper up to the roof of the convenience store to ensure that we had the ground covered," Mu said.

In a rare breach of protocol the Chinese commander allowed the sniper to speak to reporters. Yanying Chen, a four year veteran, and member of the Guilang regiment spoke about how the battle unfolded.
"We had moved a number of the civilians out, I had escorted them in the air car, " she said, "then on the return trip one of the Tiger soldiers had landed on the roof and told us that we could command most of the field from up there."
"I was able to access the building thanks to my photo-reactive uniform and once up there I eliminated one of the insurgents allowing us a decent area from which to remove civilians," Chen said.

"I could see one of their smaller TAGs in the distance and tried to engage it," she said, adding "I'm pretty sure I got one good hit on it but the monster kept coming."
The pumping station was destroyed in the blast, Shinaba said.
"From what I have heard the four people that were wounded in the attack look like they will recover. Two of them are in critical condition still but the others have been upgraded to serious condition," he said.
"We cannot think that the attack was worth the resources that the insurgents put into it. The security forces have cleared the area of insurgents now."
