Nice work.
I'm always in a quandary as to what color green the British used for their armour.
Some say they didn't repaint American olive green, others say it was a darker green they used.
What color did you use?

Cheers,
Thomas

Thanks Gents.

This lot of armour have been air brushed Vallejo Air 19 and then dry brushed them Russian uniform Green 924. My next lot I will be air brushing on the Russian uniform.

They have then had a light dry brush of a mix of Vallejo 977 + white + GW Bleached bone.

Will be putting filters and washes on next.

Cheers

I was reading somewhere that Vallajo 924 is the same color as SCC15, the standard OD green that was  given by the U.S. to Britain.
I see you used it as a dry brush instead of the main color. As I don't have an airbrush what color would Air 19 be in brush on?

Thanks for passing on your technique!!

Cheers,
Thomas

Evening

Thanks for the feedback and have to agree that Britannia are an excellent range of figures and vehicles.

I have finished the building I was working on as my first completed building after getting over my block of painting them.

Hi Thomas

Am afraid could not help as a direct alternative but have used V975 think it is military green, before I started airbrushing.
