*UPDATE* ACW Iron Brigade conversions

I finally started work on my Iron Brigade conversions. 'Why?' I hear you ask. I don't like any of the published models available so there was really no choice. Alan Perry told me a few times that the Iron Brigade is on his to do list but that may still take a while. Because this is a lot work for me, I don't plan on doing an entire brigade for Black Powder. anyway, here are some pictures for your approval and enjoyment. figures are the ACW Union infantry in Frockcoats by the Perry Twins. heads from various sources. Hardee hats from Redoubt Enterprises (after I sawed off the heads they come attached to)

Those westerners are in froc coat not in sack coat ! and it is totaly accurate !

I just finished an excellent book on the Iron Brigade at Gettysburg (Those Damned Black Hats by Herdegen)...Highly recommended.

thanks! I actually still haven't completed converting the unit  . I have four units from Forgotten and Glorious, so including this one, I can field the entire Iron Brigade
