Crowdfunding payments

Please note that this is a Fixed Funding campaign. Your payment has been processed, but will be refunded if the campaign doesn't reach its goal.

Do you mind that they do this or would you prefer that they collect payment when it finishes?  I forget how Kickstarter handles this aspect...

Kickstarter does not charge unless the campaign is a success and then only at the end of the campaign.

IGG allows a variety of different formats, like the one you mentions, something closer to the KS model, and "flexible funding" as well (all funds raised go to the campaign host, no matter how little is raised).
